2011 Email Regarding Saint Vincent Archabbey
Your efforts have been brought to my attention concerning sexual misconduct by monks at Saint Vincent Archabbey. Though I am no longer a priest, having freed myself from this life to be with my true love, I frequently visited the Archabbey in the 1990s and 2000s as well.. I’ll be honest with you and say right up front that I am gay and active in the lifestyle. The abbey was reccomended to me by a former lover to be a place where people like me a would be welcomed and indulged. A place to find other people for mutually gratifying experiences. I don’t think there is anything wrong with people being gay and being priests, but the apparently the Church does on some level. However, many engage in same sex behavior that would condemn it. Seems a bit hypocritical to me. Our goals are different I believe. It is my sense that you want to expose this behavior because it is incompatiable with being a priest in the RCC.
My goal is to expose the behavior so people can finally realize how wide spread it is at Saint Vincent and perhaps just accept that type of behavior can be compatiable with the priesthood and that St. Vincent can be a starting point for a discussion because I assure you, it is place where lots of monk on monk gay sex has taken place and continues to be.I’ve gotten blowjobs down by the lake(and some group play), had sex in the abbey and leander hall, and some other really interesting places. Basically, I’d like to suppliment any information that you may have. My understanding is that you have the stamina for this kind of battle and I hope that we can compare notes. At present, I am not revealing my idenity, but perhaps in time I will be able to if our exchange works out and that you have serious information about misconduct because I assure, I do. I look forward to hearing from you with what documentation you have. I am happy to add to it.
