Letter Regarding Power of 32 Steering Committee Member Douglas Nowicki
I trust result in Archabbot Nowicki being invited to step down as a member of the Steering Committee of this noble organisation until a public exoneration made by the appropriate authority, which in this case is the Congregation for Religious in Rome is publicly disseminated. H.E Archbishop Viganò, as the interlocutor of the Holy See in his capacity as Apostolic Nuncio to the United States would be the appropriate person to contact to seek confirmation from if a Decree has been issued determining the guilt or innocence of Archabbot Nowicki in the eyes of the Church, given Nowicki’s standing as a major religious superior.
Letter Regarding Power of 32 Steering Committee Member Douglas Nowicki (Sexual Misconduct)
Dear Mr. Getty,
Please find enclosed a letter [ View ], which regrettably will bring to your attention for the first time allegations of serious sexual misconduct with the supporting documentation that have been made against Archabbot Douglas Nowicki. The greater good of the Church, the protection of the young and other vulnerable adults have necessitated, after much deliberation, the public dissemination of this information. Repeatedly, the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Greensburg has been contacted by concerned people about Archabbot Nowicki and these allegations of sexual misconduct.
Sadly, the Bishop continues to arrogantly ignore these allegations, despite this documentary evidence been handed to the former Judicial Vicar of the Diocese, so it would appear the Bishop of Greensburg is complicit exacerbating the cover-up of a cleric sexual misconduct in direct contravention of the churches own internal rules as defined in the Norms of the Dallas Charter. Tomorrow, this letter will be sent by registered mail to your office.
May, I draw your attention to the allegation of buttock pinching, groping and other unwanted sexual touching by Archabbot Douglas Nowicki; along with the feeling of shame, anger, despair, worthlessness felt by the victim. Please be advised that Archabbot Nowicki has a long history of covering up and defending the activities of sexually recidivist clergy at St Vincent Archabbey.
I am aware of the seriousness of these allegations; so this is an action, that I do not undertake likely but in conscience, the greater good, now demands this information be made public.
